Best Paper/Poster Award
Two oral papers and two posters each, getting the highest marks, will be chosen for this Award. Certificate will be provided to the presenter or the corresponding author only. The award will be announced during Valedictory.
Each presentation/poster will be judged during the session and given marks out of 50. The two presentation/posters receiving the highest marks across sessions will be chosen.
Excellence in Clinical Practice Award
It will be awarded to acknowledge professionals/teams who have demonstrated outstanding clinical service in geriatric mental health.
Who can apply :
Organizations and Individual clinical practitioners practicing in the field of Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Psychiatry / Psychiatric Nursing.
Criteria for Award :
  • Establishment/integration of psychosocial support/care into hospital/clinic working for geriatric patients.
  • Development of innovative clinical models/programs.
  • Impact on patient care and caregiver support.
  • Sustainability and replicability of practices.
  • No. of professionals educated and trained.
  • Community efforts, advocacy and policy efforts/contribution.
  • Self-nomination and third-party nominations accepted.

To recognise significant research that has advanced knowledge or practice in psycho-gerontology.
Who can apply :
Early or mid-career researchers working the area of Geriatric Mental Health

  • Contribution to Indian data and culturally informed models.
  • Evidence of citations, guidelines, or policy influence. Number of thesis guided
